2. Website and Services Offered
The Service Provider operates the website www.quickprotranslations.com, which offers:
- Translation Services: Certified, legal, official, financial, real estate, corporate, travel and tourism content, website and SEO/AEO-related translations.
- Content Writing Services: SEO/AEO-optimised copy for websites, blogs, corporate materials, and industry-specific publications.

4. Acceptance of Terms
Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Service. No other terms, including the Client's general purchasing conditions, shall override these unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
5. Quotes and Orders
A free, written quote will be provided based on the content or information submitted by the Client. The quote includes:
- Word count or page count
- Source and target languages
- Pricing methodology (flat rate, per word, per hour, etc.)
- Delivery timeline
- Requested file format/layout
- Applicable surcharges (e.g., urgency, desktop publishing, specific research)
Orders are confirmed and legally binding only upon written acceptance by the Client and receipt of a 50% advance payment. All quotations are valid for a period of 7 calendar days from the date of issue, after which they automatically expire unless expressly accepted in writing.
6. Amendments Post-Quote
If the Client submits modified or additional materials after the quote has been accepted, the Service Provider reserves the right to:
- Revise pricing and delivery timelines
- Decline the additional work
Discounts are granted at the sole discretion of the Service Provider and apply only to the specific project agreed upon.
Unless otherwise agreed, deliverables for certified translations shall be submitted in non-editable PDF format. Editable formats (such as Word) may be provided for non-certified translations upon request. Partial deliveries may be sent for review purposes but shall not constitute final or certified versions.
7. Pricing
Prices are quoted in Mauritian Rupees, Euros, or US Dollars, exclusive of taxes. The Service Provider is not subject to VAT. Any international bank charges are to be borne by the client.
8. Service Delivery
Projects are undertaken based on staff availability and confirmed timelines. Urgent requests may incur the following surcharges:
- 30% for urgent translation
- 30% for urgent content writing
9. Client Responsibilities
The Client must provide all necessary documents and relevant terminology. The Service Provider is not liable for delays or inaccuracies resulting from missing or unclear information.
10. Quality Disputes
The Client has five (5) working days from the date of delivery to raise any concerns regarding the quality of the service. After this period, the deliverable shall be deemed accepted and approved. Where applicable, a revised version may be provided at no additional cost. Final determination regarding the validity of claims and any potential refunds rests solely with the Service Provider.
11. Payment Terms
Full payment is due within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments shall incur interest at an annual rate equivalent to the prevailing Prime Lending Rate published by commercial banks in Mauritius, minus 0.5% (currently approximately 6.45%). This rate shall adjust automatically in line with any changes to the published Prime Lending Rate. The Client shall also be liable for all legal, administrative, and collection costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts.
12. Project Cancellation
If a confirmed project is cancelled:
- Work already completed will be billed at 100%
- Remaining work will be billed at 50%
13. Amendments to Terms
Any modifications to these Terms must be in writing and signed by both parties.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Mauritian courts.
15. Confidentiality and Data Protection
The Service Provider commits to maintaining strict confidentiality of all client documents and information and complies with applicable data protection regulations.
16. Force Majeure
The Service Provider shall not be held liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, technical failures, or governmental actions.
17. Non-Solicitation
The Client agrees not to solicit, recruit, or employ, directly or indirectly, any employee, contractor, or collaborator of the Service Provider, without the Service Provider's prior written consent, during the term of their contractual relationship with the Service Provider and for a period of twelve (12) months following the end of said relationship.
18. Limitation of Liability
The Service Provider shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the deliverables, including loss of profits, contracts, or reputation. In all cases, liability is limited to the total amount invoiced and paid by the Client for the concerned service.
